MICHELLE TAYLOR

Michelle Taylor is the co-founder of JGMT Studios, producing documentaries that champion free-market political and policy outcomes. She also co-founded Electrolift Creative, a boutique production company specializing in mainstream documentaries, feature films, and short narratives.

Taylor began her career at Citizens United, overseeing development, marketing, and film distribution before becoming Executive Vice President of a national consulting firm, advising clients on strategy, visibility, and messaging. Shifting to filmmaking, she has produced seven feature documentaries, numerous short films, and commercial projects.

Her debut feature, Los Abandonados, exposed corruption in Argentina’s Kirchner administration, sparking global media attention and influencing the country’s 2015 election. In 2018, she produced The Creepy Line, which screened during the Toronto Film Festival. Distributed in 30 countries, the film provided critical insights to U.S. Congressional leaders ahead of committee hearings with Silicon Valley executives.

In 2020, Taylor released Marcel Duchamp: Art of the Possible, a celebrated documentary featuring 29 interviews with leading artists and scholars. The film premiered at the Hirshhorn Museum, screened in 35+ international festivals, and is available in over 15 countries. That same year, she produced Safeguard: An Electoral College Story, now widely used in schools and libraries, and Riding the Dragon, a deep dive into the Biden family’s ties to China, which reached millions of viewers.

Her latest film, Gotham: The Fall and Rise of New York (2023), chronicles NYC’s 1990s revitalization. Released on Amazon and Apple TV, it has sold in 13 countries, earned festival accolades, and received coverage from over 360 media outlets.
